Fostering Futures

We are proud to have added a new initiative as part of our 401(k)ids program that will benefit hundreds of area children currently in foster care.

Through the Fostering Futures initiative, Bright House Networks is supporting The Heart Gallery - a traveling exhibit that features the faces and voices of foster children in search of "forever families". Also, Bright House Networks employees are volunteering to serve as life coaches and mentors to foster children that will "age out" of the foster care system when they turn 18.

To ensure all kids have a bright holiday, we also conducted a campaign that encouraged people to buy gifts for foster children. As a result of this effort, several hundred gifts were purchased and delivered to area foster children. Thank you to all who participated in this wonderful project.

Keeping Kids Safe

Our Keeping Kids Safe project is an interactive initiative that provides parents and kids with valuable safety tips on a variety of subjects. Parents and kids are encouraged to review the safety tips together and then watch the safety video segments that feature D.A.R.E. safety buddy Retro Bill. We plan to rotate safety topics, so be sure to check back again for new safety tips and videos.

Operation Bright Eyes

Our community is a safer place to live, thanks to this neighborhood watch program. We've provided basic neighborhood watch training to more than 500 of our field service employees. Like any good neighbor, they'll report any unusual activities they see to the proper authorities. We're doing our part to help keep neighborhoods and residents safe.
